Program 1: Northern route “Chiang Mai – Mae Hong Son”
Day 1: Start on Chiang Mai – Fang route which passes Mae Rim and Mae Tang district. From Mae Tang, take Ban Sop Kai road and start the off – road route towards Pang Mai Dang (Karen). Stop for lunch at Ban Muang Khong, Chiang Dao district. Afternoon, depart from Ban Muang Khong and head to Lisu village at Huay Nam Dung. First night of the trip at Huay Nam Dung National Park.
Day 2: Start the journey on Pai – Mae Malai route. There will be no time to relax or play Partypoker as you will get the chance to take a short visit at Pong Duat Hot Spring and drive down to Ban Pa Pae, Mae Taeng district. From there, start the off – road route to Karen village, Pang Chum Mae Krai , and Lisu village. Take a lunch break at Yang Moen village in Samoeng district. Afternoon off – road trip to Ban Khong Sam Muen (Mong village), Chaem Noi (Karen village). End the journey at Ban Wat Chan, Mae Cheam district and stay there for a second night
Day 3: Start the off – road trip from Ban Wat Chan, pass Huay Tong (Karen village) and Huay Pu Loei. Take a lunch break at Huay Ha Mong village. Afternoon, continue the trip to Pai district. The route of the off – road goes through Daren village, Prik Hom, Huay Dee Mee, Muang Paeng and arrive at Pai. Stay overnight at Pai
Day 4: Take Pai – Mae Hong Son highway to Pang Ma Pha, visit Tom Lod Cave and stop there for lunch. Afternoon, start the off – road route to Mae Lana, Mae Hong Son and see Long neck hill – tribe village. End day 4 in Mae Hong Son
Day 5: Take Mae Hong Son – Mae Sariang highway to Ban Huay Pong. Take an off – road to Mae Surin National Park, go through Mae Oo – Kho and stop at Pang Oong (Mong village) for lunch. Afternoon , head to Mae Chaem district. Drive up to Doi Inthanon Mount, drive through Chom Thong district and return to Chiang Mai.
Program 2: Southern route “Chiang Mai – Mae Hong Son”
Day 1: Take Chiang Mai – Hod highway which passes Hang Dong, San Patong, Jom Thong district. Then take an off – road route to Ban Pa Kluay (Mong village). Afternoon , drive up to the top of Doi Inthanon and drive towards Mae Chaem district. Pay a visit to Mae Pan Waterfall, Huay Sai Luang Waterfall. Stay overnight at Mae Chaem district.
Day 2: Morning take Mae Chaem – Khum Yuam highway to Ban Mae Na – Chorn, from there take an off – road route to Ban Mae Sa (Karem village), Khun Mae Ruam and Ban Huay Yot. Have lunch at Ban Mae Oo – Kho. Afternoon, visit Mae Surin Waterfall and continue the trip to Khun Yuam district and spend the second night there.
Day 3: Take Khun Yuam – Mae Hong Son route to Ban Mae Surin and from there, start an off – road trip through Karen village, Ban Mae Sa – Peh, Huay Fan passing Mae Surin stream and Ban Mai Hung. Stop for lunch at Ban Huay Pong. Afternoon, continue the trip to Mae Hong Son to pay a visit to Long neck, Wat Kong Mu temple and Wat Chong Kham temple. Stay the third night in Mae Hong Son.
Day 4: From Mae Hong Son, take the route to Ban Mae Sakat, Ban Huay Hee and take an off – road to Karen village, Ban Nong Dong Klang, Kluay Mai Kham and Ban Huay Pu Ling to have lunch there. Afternoon start an off – road trip to Ban Huay Pu Loei and Ban Huay Tong. Stay overnight at Ban Wat Chan
Day 5: Take Wat Chan – Samoeng route to Chaem Noi (Karen village), Mong village and Dong Sam – Muen. From there take an off – road to Ban Yang Moen to rest for lunch. Afternoon , return to Chiang Mai on Yang Moen – Samoeng road passing through Ban Om – Long, Ban Ang Khai, Samoeng and Mae Rim district. Arrive in Chiang Mai with safety.
